Previous Next    by Yanina Manolova On August 5, 2008, an inmate lifts weights at the gym of the Juvenile Detention Center in Boichinovtsi, Bulgaria. Some of the young offenders become socialized within and accustomed to the life in this juvenile detention center. The living conditions at the Center are often better than those from which the boys originated – some of them come from large, poor families living in overcrowded rooms without normal sanitary facilities.
